Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has expressed his desire to one day travel on a private jet with fellow musicians Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and Medikal to perform at international shows together.

In an interview with EIB Digital, the “Melissa” hitmaker opened up about the long-standing rivalry and misunderstandings between himself and Stonebwoy. According to him, the tension surrounding their camps sometimes creates fear and discomfort among people close to them, which he believes is unhealthy for the music industry.

Shatta Wale stated that he holds no grudges against any Ghanaian artiste and described Stonebwoy and Sarkodie as brothers despite past disagreements.

“I don’t have any issue with any artiste. Stonebwoy is like a brother to me, and the same goes for Sarkodie. We’ve had our differences before, but now we are communicating again. I’m travelling to London and he’s already waiting for me there,” he said.

The musician explained that his mindset has changed because he is now more focused on growth and unity within the industry. He noted that collaboration among artistes would help strengthen Ghana’s music scene rather than constant rivalry and tension.

He further stressed that unhealthy competition and fear among industry players do not promote progress.

“I believe if we all develop the same mindset, we can sit together and work together. One day, it should be me, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Medikal on the same jet flying abroad for a show. It shouldn’t always be only me,” he added.

On May 27, 2026, Shatta Wale departed Accra on a private jet to London in preparation for promotional activities ahead of his ShattaFest UK concert slated for August 1, 2026.
